Chipboard, or Particleboard is an engineered wood product manufactured from wood particles.
It is denser and more uniform than conventional wood and plywood and is substituted for them when appearance and strength are less important than cost. AXIS CNC are capable of Chipboard routing, Chipboard Shaping, Chipboard CNC, Chipboard Machining as well as Chipboard Fabrication Services.
Chipboard is very prone to expansion and discolouration due to moisture, particularly when it is not covered with paint or sealer.
It is therefore, rarely used outdoors or places that have high levels of moisture. AXIS CNC can print directly onto all Chipboard products and contour cut using optical router cutting.
