Plywood is a type of manufactured wood made from thin sheets of timber that are glued together so that adjacent plies have their wood grains at right angles to each other for greater strength.
There are an odd number of plies, as symmetry makes the board less prone to warping.

Plywood can be used in humid areas and also applications with high structural stresses for example shopfitting and interior furniture, boat building, bathroom furniture, and also in exhibition stand construction due to its relatively low specific weight.

Light in colour plywood with little or no knots. Available in various quality grades, we mainly use BB/CP grade. Commonly used in furniture and when you need better quality than Far Eastern Ply.

This is the most common type of plywood available in DIY stores. The quality is not great but is adequate for general applications.

A more robust standard plywood with better water resistance, it looks similar to Far Eastern Ply but has little or no voids between the laminates and uses superior grades of woods and glue.

This is a high quality grade of birch plywood that is coated both sides with a decorative polypropylene laminate suitable for both exterior and interior applications. The surface has excellent wear resistance, is robust and hygienic with slight ‘eggshell’ texture. WISA Multiwall Plywood is suitable for a wide range of demanding applications including structural end uses.
Easily worked and ideal for AXIS CNC machining. It does not ‘chip’ or breakout and also has good UV resistance and is easy to clean. Edges are sealed with acrylic resin paint.
Typical Applications include Playground equipment, sports equipment, furniture, kitchen units, doors, shelving, joinery and shopfitting, exhibitions, POS displays, flight cases and specialist packing. AXIS CNC can print directly onto all Plywood products and contour cut using optical router cutting.
